God is Scattering His Enemies (and Giving Us Signs!)

The Lord is speaking loud and clear right now.

But, like Jesus said, you have to have the ears to hear to be able to “hear” what He is saying.

“And He said to them, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” -Mark 4:9

Now, more than ever before, it is crucial for the people of God to know what the Lord is saying and NOT go by what they see, feel, think or are being told my the world or other people around them.

As I said in the Strong Delusions word, moving forward, there will be two narratives (actually, it’s always been that way, but they will be clearly divided like never before) - what God says and the lie that the enemy has constructed - “the world.” And depending on where your heart lies and what you look to for truth, you will experience one of these two “realities.”

“I will make a clear distinction between my people and your people.” -Exodus 8:23

Which is why believers have to know how to hear the voice of God. That might seem like a given, but unfortunately, in the modern American Church especially, there are many believers who don’t hear the voice of God personally. They go to church and listen to a sermon, but don’t have the intimate personal relationship with the Lord that is necessary to receive His guidance, direction and protection.

And if they don’t, in a time like right now, they will miss the signs. They will miss what the Lord is saying. And worse yet, they may fall completely for the lies of the enemy instead.

Prophetic Word - God is Scattering His Enemies.png

This word began last week when I looked out the window and “saw” the Lord in the snowstorm outside my window.

What do I mean by “seeing” God in a snowstorm?

God is always speaking… through everything around us all the time. He is the same God He’s always been and He speaks to His people through nature, through the stars, through songs, signs (literal ones), times and dates, and a million other things.

But, you have to “have ears to hear” like Jesus said to be able to receive it and recognize it. And that “ability” comes from being close to Him. In a real, intimate relationship.

So, that morning, when I looked out the window, I knew that God was saying something through the snow. I immediately felt it in my spirit and as soon as I pulled out my Bible, He spoke through this verse…

The Almighty scattered the enemy kings like a blowing snowstorm on Mount Zalmon.” -Psalm 86:14

Immediately, the Holy Spirit highlighted these words - “The Almighty scattered the enemy kings…” The snowstorm was another sign regarding what He’s about to do.

Like I shared in the Esther word video and the Strong Delusions word, God is about to intervene and move in a big way in the situation in America and He wants His people to recognize that it is HIM when He does it. But, if they remain in a spirit of pride and offense or depend on their own feelings or opinions, they will get caught up in the “strong delusion” and the Lord will let them be deceived (for a time).

But, He’s been giving repeated warnings through His prophets, as well as through signs, so we can know what He is doing and about to do. Some big and some small, but He is always speaking.

The snowstorm was a sign… a “breadcrumb” that led to Psalm 68, which then allowed His Spirit to give more revelation and confirmation through the Scripture.

“Rise up, O God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate God run for their lives. Blow them away like smoke. Melt them like wax in a fire. Let the wicked perish in the presence of God. But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy. Sing praises to God and to his name!
Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord— rejoice in his presence!” -Psalm 68:1-4

This is, again, another description of what God is about to do and the “two realities” or two narratives that will result.

God is scattering His enemies. He is exposing the wicked and tearing down their evil schemes. He is about to move as only He can and those who can “see” and “hear” will recognize that it is His hand at work. They will be filled with joy and rejoicing. This is the revival that is starting (as I explained in the Esther word).

But at the same time, there will be great turmoil, darkness and storms in the world. It will simultaneously be “the best of times” for those in (true) covenant with God and the “worst of times” for those who are His “enemy” (I put that in quotes because it includes believers who are still choosing the world over Him).

“God places the lonely in families, He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But, He makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” -Psalm 68:6

The Lord is reviving His Church and taking them back to the way things were in Acts 2. He is making them a community again. A family. So, just like it was in the days of the disciples, everything will be shared among one another. There will be no lack with the people of God because everything belongs to everyone and where one has a need, another will meet it. They will be joyful and prosperous, just as the Lord’s Word says.

But, those who rebel against Him and choose to continue in the ways of their own flesh or the lies of the enemy and the world, will experience the “sun-scorched land”… the hardship, lack and difficulty of the world.

God is moving now. He is stepping in and scattering the enemy kings like a blowing snowstorm.

“But God will smash the heads of His enemies, crushing the skulls of those who love their guilty ways. Summon Your might, O’ God.  Display Your power, as You have in the past. Rebuke those enemy nations - these wild animals lurking in the reeds, this herd of bulls among the weaker calves.” -Psalm 68:21,28,30

He is still the same God He’s always been. And He will still display His power like He has in the past. He is rebuking the enemy kings and enemy nations. He is crushing those that love their guilty ways.

Like Haman in the Esther word, they may think they are untouchable and unstoppable, but they are not fighting man. They are fighting God and they’re about to see His might and His power.

“Sing to the one who rides across the ancient heavens, His mighty voice thundering from the sky.” -Psalm 68:33

God’s voice “thunders” from the sky. He speaks and gives signs before He moves. And the conjunction a couple weeks ago was not just a “cool thing in the sky.”

In ancient astronomy terms (not astrology), the planet Jupiter is called “Zedek,” which also means righteousness and justice. While Saturn was basically representative of death, disaster, treachery, etc. It’s why the festival of debauchery (and even violence) that the ancient Romans celebrated was called “Saturnalia.”

So, the conjunction that happened was literally a sign in the sky - of “Jupiter” overtaking “Saturn.” Righteousness and justice overtaking the wickedness and treachery. God bringing justice as only He can.

It was a sign that He is about to move. And that despite what wicked men may think, God is still in control and His power and majesty still rule over all flesh.

“Tell everyone about God’s power.  His majesty shines down on Israel, His strength is mighty in the Heavens. God is awesome in His sanctuary, the God of Israel gives power and strength to His people.” -Psalm 68:34-35

And that is what gives us - God’s people - power and strength. Knowing that He still sits on His throne and He is still in control. And His justice will prevail.

Tomorrow is a day called “Epiphany” in Christianity. And the word means a “revelation” or “manifestation” of God. There’s about to be a revelation and manifestation of God in our natural world.

Over and over in the Bible, God set traps for His enemies. He let Pharaoh think he had the Israelites trapped before He drowned them all in the Red Sea. He let Nebuchadnezzar think he had killed the Hebrew boys before He stepped into the flames and brought them out without smelling like smoke.

And He let Satan think he had won before He rose Jesus from the grave and defeated sin and death once and for all.

God likes to set traps and show His power over His enemies. And He’s about to do it again.

So, let those who have eyes to see, see! And ears to hear, hear!

“Ears to hear and eyes to see— both are gifts from the LORD.” -Proverbs 20:12
