Prophecy IS Coming True! (and Hearts are Being Exposed!)
One of the BIGGEST things the Lord has taught me on my journey with Him is to not believe what you see. AT ALL.
To ONLY believe what He says and not what I see, hear, feel or even think because those all can deceive me, but His word cannot.
He has gone out of His way to demonstrate this to me and break me free too... you've probably read some of my stories. Where He had me drive on an "empty" gas tank to show me He was sovereign over all things. Or, when He had me drive on a cross-country trip when it appeared that I had only 83 cents and 15 mi on my gas tank. And He provided everything I needed on the entire trip and more.
As believers, we HAVE to get out of the natural. And I mean, HAVE TO. It is literally the only way we will survive what is coming. It's why He had me release that prophetic word about the two narratives and how it will all come down to what you believe. What you see/hear in the natural or God. Those are the only two choices and you can't believe both because they will be in direct opposition to one another.
In my own life, I am waiting on several promises from God that appear to be absolutely, completely "impossible" in the natural. And guess what? That doesn't matter!! In fact, that has been my exact response to two of the major promises when circumstances appeared to "make them impossible." I just looked at it, said well, I don't know what to tell you... but it doesn't matter. God said it, so He's going to do it!
And this is not me bragging on myself... this is (THANK GOD!) the change that the Holy Spirit has made in me. And why again, it is SO important (no... crucial) for the Body of Christ to rely on nothing but the Holy Spirit right now and moving forward. They can NOT rely on their own understanding or reasoning. It will fail them.
As believers... we BELIEVE. That is what we do. That is the entire basis of our salvation. BELIEF. So, when God says something, we need to believe Him. Beyond what we see. We can't only believe Him when we can figure out how it will happen or make sense of it with our human reasoning. And then if we can't "see" that happening, say "Oh! Well, I guess He must've changed His mind!"
Did we not learn from all of the stories in the Bible? When God brings the Israelites out of Egypt, they are standing in front of a sea. Do you not think that they thought it was "impossible" for them to be saved? But, was it too much for God? No.
When we look in the natural and make our decisions based on what we see, we are completely leaving out the SOVEREIGNTY of God. It is exactly why He gave us so many stories in the Bible about "just believe." It's why He told Jairus not to give up when MAN said his daughter was dead. Jesus moved and she came back to life.
Why is the Body of Christ so quick to give up when they can't see the way? Even those who are leaders and appear to have a strong connection with the Lord? It's because He is exposing what is really going on deep down in their heart. There is something there that needs to be dealt with and God is exposing it.
One of the “major” prophetic voices out there right now has already publicly backtracked on his prophecies and apologized. And ironically, part of his original prophecy was that the Trump situation would confirm that the Elijah spirit was in America.
Well, it definitely is! Just not like he (or I’m guessing a lot of others) expected! Because what is causing the uprising of the Elijah spirit is THIS part… right now. The major unbelief that is being exposing in the hearts of believers in response to what they SEE.
Elijah didn’t mess around. When he stood on Mt. Carmel, he basically mocked all the other prophets and made a very clear point - you either believe in God (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) or you believe in all these other things (which in our current situation, would equate to the news, media, celebrities, man, their own feelings/opinions, etc.). Period.
“At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.” -1 Kings 18:36-37
After the people look to all these other “gods” to make it rain (their desired outcome) and nothing happens… Elijah steps up and calls on the Lord. And asks HIM to move so the people will know that He is God and that He is turning their hearts back to Him again.
And He does just that.
And when He does, there is no mistaking who did it. And the people respond accordingly.
“When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!” -1 Kings 18:39
Believers have been crying out to God in our nation right now, but then expecting the world to answer them. They are looking for a response that makes sense to their natural reasoning. And when they don’t see it, are quick to give up.
But, God is doing something much bigger.
Not only is He serving justice and exposing the wicked schemes of His enemies like He said, but He’s also allowing it to unfold in a way that is exposing the hearts of His children. The only way for them to truly know what is deep down in their hearts is for Him to show it to them (that’s the way His loving judgment works).
Just like when the people saw God’s fire consume Elijah’s sacrifice, they fell prostrate and cried out in recognition of God’s mighty power and sovereignty. And that’s what’s about to happen right now with His Church.
They need to be woken up and reminded of exactly who He is. That is the “fear” and “trembling” you’ve been hearing about that He’s restoring to the Church. His own people need to remember His sovereignty again because they have had Him constrained inside of their own reasoning and understanding. And God is about to remind them that He is above and outside of every “restriction” they think or see.
There is a reason why the Lord is having things play out the way they are. It’s like the Israelites when God brought them out of Egypt.
“When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt ready for battle.” -Exodus 13:17-18
God could’ve changed things in the election situation early on. He could’ve just intervened that day or even earlier. But, He has taken us the long way so we will become battle-ready. If He had taken us on the “shorter route,” then the next time we are faced with war (which we will be consistently moving forward), we would give up and go back to Egypt (the world).
But, He has taken us the longer way to allow time for us to be strengthened and fortified (and again, for hearts to be exposed). When He comes through now, those who stood strong in their faith will be fired up like never before! And those who realize they waivered and have doubt and unbelief in their hearts will be moved to repent and return their hearts to Him - which is the revival He spoke about in the Esther word He had me release a couple months ago!
In order to survive moving forward, we HAVE to be a Church that is fully surrendered to the Lord. We have to fully trust Him and His sovereignty. And fully trust that the battle is His and He will move for us.
“Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” -Exodus 14:13-14
It’s why the Lord took the Israelites the long way around, then showed them His power and sovereignty by parting the Red Sea. Because afterward, they believed again.
“And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.” -Exodus 14:31
There is a Spirit-led remnant of believers out there right now that do take the Lord at His word and know that, like Moses, they can stand still and watch the Lord fight for them. But, the rest of the Body of Christ has to wake up and decide in their heart if they believe God or the world.
Because again, as we move forward... you won't have the option to do both. It's one or the other. A division is being made. The wheat is being separated from the tares. The goats from the sheep. There will be no more room for mixture or pretend.
"Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:15)
