Prophetic Encouragement: You're Coming Out of Your Proving Process

Prophetic Encouragement - YOU’RE COMING OUT OF YOUR PROVING PROCESS! 🍞

The other day, I was watching a video and as the person said the words ”you’re coming out of the proving process,” the Holy Spirit made them stand out to me like they were in bold neon lights.

The video continued on about something else, but I knew the Holy Spirit wanted me to follow Him down this trail. Immediately, I had thought of the association with “proving” (or “proofing”) bread (even though I know nothing about baking). So, I looked it up and sure enough, the prophetic significance is amazing!

  • The ”proving” or “proofing” process is the FINAL RISE that dough undergoes before baking.

  • It is the most dramatic physical change that a dough undergoes.

  • During this time, the dough nearly doubles in size.

  • It happens after the dough has been shaped and takes place in a vessel where there’s lots of room to expand.

  • It is a time when the dough is allowed to REST and RISE a final time before baking.

  • It is also referred to as BLOOMING.

  • The warmer the environment, the faster it will rise.

  • The process is a patient and time-consuming one, but you need to allow it to happen at a steady pace and not rush it.

  • Throughout the process, the baker occasionally ”pokes” at the dough to see how it responds. If it responds slowly or remains in place when poked, it‘s fully proved. If it indents and rebounds quickly, it needs more time.

If you didn’t catch all of that yummy prophetic goodness already, let me put it altogether now.

The Sons of God are about to be revealed. The forerunners, the burning ones that have been through the fire with Him and equipped and prepared in seclusion and obscurity, are about to emerge. But, they had to go through one final process first.

If this is you, it may have caught you off guard a little. You may have wondered what was happening since the Lord said you were out of the wilderness now and entering your promised land. But, the Lord says, this was your “proving” process. Just like dough is allowed to rest and rise one final time before it is baked, this was a short time for you to do the same.

To not only rest physically in preparation of what is to come, but also to “rise” one final time. But, not just rise. To grow faster and more than you ever have before. If you have experienced major revelations and breakthroughs with the Lord over this past year, you know what I mean. After such a long, hard journey, it seems like you’ve ”doubled in size” in just a matter of months.

He has been shaping you and preparing you and all of the work you allowed Him to do in the wilderness of emptying you of yourself, gave Him room to expand you. To bring you through such a dramatic transformation, that you barely recognize yourself sometimes. At points, the heat was intense and there was pain and irritation when He “poked” you. But, just like the dough becoming ready to be baked, it has all prepared you to step into your purpose.

He healed all your old traumas and wounds, so you won‘t react out of emotion anymore. He calmed the fear and doubt, so you remain steady and calm when things come against you. It was a process that at times felt like it might never end, but it was all for a purpose.

Because slow and steady wins the race and you have allowed Him to slowly, but steadily ”prove” you. But, the process is complete now. It is time to RISE and step into His plans and promises for you.

You have been proven.

You are rising.

You are blooming.

It’s your time.

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” -Isaiah‬ ‭60:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
