Behold! A Wave is Coming!

In the Bible, you will see the word “behold” a lot. And, whenever you see this word, it is there for a very important purpose.

Every single word of the Bible is there for a reason. But, when you see the word “behold,” it means you need to pay particular attention to what the speaker is about to say next.

In fact, the definition of behold is “to fix the eyes upon, to see with attention or observe with care.” Meaning, this is not just a casual observance or haphazard hearing. This is intentional, careful listening. Heeding what is being said as important and vital.

And right now, the Lord is speaking loud and clear for people (all people) to BEHOLD… a wave is coming. It is a massive wave of His Spirit and power, and depending on where you “dwell,” it’s either going to feel like celebration and miracles or confusion and chaos.

But, before you think you know which “side” you’re on, the Lord is giving both a warning and an encouragement to heed His words now, so you won’t end up surprised later on.

The Lord has been giving me words to release for a long time now (you can go back and find them here) speaking about the “two realities” that are coming. And, how they will be happening simultaneously. A rather literal “the best of times and worst of times.”

And, how what you believe will determine which “reality” you experience. But, this isn’t just about a surface-level belief. It is about what you actually really believe deep down in your heart. Because there will be no more room to “ride the fence” or say one thing, but do another.

So, now that we are coming to the time where this is going to come to pass in the natural, He is giving another warning. Another message for people to “behold” or “heed” (pay careful attention to).

The Lord is declaring that a massive wave of His Spirit and power is coming. But, it is not going to feel like sunshine and lollipops for everyone.

Let me explain.

Dwelling in Heaven vs. Dwelling on the Earth

As believers, we are called to “walk by faith and not by sight” (2 Cor. 5:7), to “dwell in Heavenly places” (Eph. 2:6) and to “keep our eyes fixed on things above and not below” (Col. 3:2). But, many believers today are not actually doing that in their daily lives. And unfortunately, they don’t even know how to do so.

Because again, the modern “Church” has become so overrun with man/flesh-based doctrine and religion, that they’re not being equipped or taught properly! So instead, you have believers who quote these verses, but have no idea how to actually live them out in their lives.

These verses are not just for encouragement or positive thinking. They are literal directives. Instructions for how to stay safe in the midst of an unbelieving world. But, what the Lord is exposing now (and has been since the beginning of 2020) is the stark reality that most of His children don’t actually follow them on a daily basis. Again, mostly out of lack of understanding.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” -Hosea 4:6

When the Bible talks about people “dwelling on the earth” vs. “dwelling in Heaven,” it does NOT mean literally. That is where much false doctrine (and I mean, centuries-long, rampant throughout the Body of Christ, kind of false doctrine) has got people expecting to be magically whisked away from any troubles here on the earth. When that is not true (or Scripturally sound) at all.

To “dwell” means to “abide, inhabit or remain.” It is referring to where you abide - in the natural realm of the earth or in the spiritual realm (through Christ). Again, because this is NEVER talked about in most mainstream churches, it might even be coming across as abstract and hard-to-understand right now, but stick with me here.

When we walk by faith and not by sight, that means by its very definition that there is something available for us to see that is not to be believed. We know this to be true obviously, because the Bible is full of story upon story of people being told not to go by what they see. But, for some reason, we as the modern-day Body of Christ, have suffered a disconnect between what we read in the Scriptures and how we live in our everyday lives.

If you’ve been around this ministry for any length of time, you have probably heard at least one of my “crazy faith” testimonies (there are a lot of them!) And, that’s exactly why the Lord gave them to me. Because, at the time, He was teaching me through them to not believe ANYTHING that I saw or heard and ONLY to believe what He said. Period. And then, has me share them with others to help them learn the same thing.

He’s had me drive with “no” gas in my car, go on cross-country trips with “no” money and blatantly look poverty, illness or “impossibility” in the face and declare I don’t believe you. Only to then see the “impossible” happen as a result.

All of these lessons He was teaching me were for just that purpose - to learn to WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT. Sure, He started me out with small things like gas tanks and groceries, but they were all training for the bigger picture - where I would learn to live in HIS reality. HIS truth. Where I would dwell in HEAVENLY places and not on the earth (even though I was physically still here).

And, that is what He is calling all of His people to now. To a new understanding of what it means to dwell in Heavenly places and not “on the earth.” You can (and will be) physically still on the earth, without dwelling in it. In fact, that’s the whole point.

We are supposed to be here among unbelievers, living completely differently, SO THAT they will say, “What is it about you? Why are you so joyful while we are stressed? Why are you so prosperous while we are struggling? Why are you so free while we feel so trapped?” That is what is SUPPOSED to be happening so we can lead them to Christ and their own freedom!

But, for too long, believers have been right there in the same boat… suffering, struggling and stressing just like the rest of the world. Blending in with the darkness instead of brightly and boldly STANDING OUT!

But now, He is calling His people out of the world (or “Egypt”) and encouraging them to remember what it means to live as a citizen of Heaven while in the world. To live ABOVE those things that the world worries, fears and stresses about. To actually believe and live in the truth of Psalm 91, where you know that those things truly will NOT touch you!

Those aren’t just words, they are TRUTH! But, you have to believe it to experience it.

And, because we ARE very much in the end times and the tribulations will come upon those who dwell on the earth (Revelation 3:10), the Lord wants to deliver His people again, just like He did in Exodus. Except this time, He is delivering them from being part of the world and bring them into His Kingdom mindset! (Because again, it is all about what you believe!)

But, in order to do that, you have to know where you stand first. And, that’s what this wave is going to expose… exactly where you stand.

The exposure already started in 2020 - bringing out into the light what people really believe and where they really find their peace, security and safety. In God? Or in something… else.

And, it’s only going to intensify. Because this move of His Spirit and power… this tidal wave… is not going to be small or easy to miss. But, it will be experienced differently depending on if you are looking at things naturally or spiritually.

An example of this that I’ve given before is an economic crash. To the world, such a thing would appear devastating, stressful and outright destructive. It would cause fear, anxiety and worry (and probably worse). But, the exact same thing can be happening and cause the opposite reaction if you are looking at it spiritually and not naturally. Meaning, if that is how God pulls His people out of the worldly systems and brings them back into full dependence on Him, then the very same situation is now a BLESSING and a MIRACLE and not a DISASTER.

But, your experience/perception of it all depends on where you “dwell” - in the spiritual or in the natural.

Again, it is what He already has been exposing with the “shaking” He started in 2020. God’s “shaking” can often feel scary, but it is always for our good. How can we wake up and realize we’ve been depending on the wrong things if He doesn’t SHOW us?

So, that’s exactly what He’s doing.

The Keystone Cops

A few months back, the Lord spoke a rhema word to me about “keystone cops.” A keystone is “a central stone at the summit of an arch, that locks the whole thing together; the central principle or part of a system on which all else depends.” Obviously, this refers to Jesus as the cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20, Psalm 118:22, Isaiah 28:16) of the Church. But, there’s more.

In this time, the Lord is releasing those that He has given the key of David. They are the pioneers, the forerunners, the ones that are preparing the way for Christ’s return. They are the ones who (like David) are after God’s own heart. They know Him personally and serve Him with all their heart. And, like Isaiah 22:22 says, He has given them the ability to open doors that no man can shut and shut doors that no man can open.

So, the “keystone cops” are those who are walking in the authority (the “cops”) of the key of David.

Like I said, the Lord gave me this word quite awhile back. But then, just recently, a friend shared a dream of his that relates to the same word! In his dream, there was an earthquake in Pennsylvania that led to a massive tidal wave.

Pennsylvania is known as “the keystone state,” so this again represents those who are walking with the key of David. And, the earthquake is the “shaking” that will accompany them as the Lord releases them out into the open. These pioneers have been hidden away in captivity for quite some time. They have been through the intense refining fire where all of their flesh has been burned off and they have been brought into complete surrender and dedication to the Lord. But, now is the time that the Lord is sending them out on their assignments, from obscurity into elevation. As He brings down those who are in the “House of Saul,” He is bringing up those who are in the “House of David” (see this word for more info).

And, as these ones move in the authority the Lord has given them, carrying the fire of the Holy Spirit and the key of David, the shaking will lead to a massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit power everywhere they go.

It’s interesting because the Lord has been giving me dreams about a massive tidal wave for years now (this is just one of them) and I have heard other prophetic voices echoing the same thing.

It IS coming. But, the Lord wants His people to be prepared. Because when this wave comes, it isn’t going to look like they think it will. In fact, if they have any preconceived notions of “God wouldn’t do that…” or “God wouldn’t use that person…", they will find themselves getting knocked down by the wave of His Spirit.

Because the Lord is doing a new thing. He is moving in new ways. And, He is most definitely breaking off any restrictions and limitations that man has put on Him. His Spirit will not and cannot be contained in a box of man’s expectations, rules or guidelines.

Which brings us back to the “behold” in God’s warning. He is saying pay attention now. Listen now. Take heed now.

Humble yourself before Him now and ask Him to help you surrender anything that might be holding you back from complete surrender and humility. Remember, we don’t always know what’s in our hearts, but He does.

Because like He said in this word from earlier this year, if you get stuck in offense, you will miss what He is doing. And, find yourself on the wrong side, resisting God’s ways instead of moving with Him.

Do Not Lean on Your Own Understanding

One of the most important things for people to remember at this time is God’s sovereignty. In fact, that is going to be a huge part of this wave that is coming - the Lord reminding His people of just that. Because it too has been lost in the sea of watered-down religious doctrine. Everything is focused on us and what we do, instead of Jesus and what He’s already done.

So, the sovereignty of God has been watered-down as well. People have forgotten how all-powerful He is and that He can do whatever He wants, whenever He wants, however He wants. We have put limits on a limitless God. But, that is all coming to an end.

We have to be humble enough to not add our own understanding and be 100% tuned in to His Spirit to make sure we don’t miss what He’s doing. Because if we rely on our own reasoning at all, we will be deceived. The enemy is banking on it.

It is time to lean in to the Lord like you never have before. Surrender to Him. Submit to Him. Ask Him to help you see anything that you can’t see and to give you a clean heart so you won’t stumble.

This wave that is coming IS an awesome thing! There are going to be signs, miracles and wonders like we have never seen! And many will come to the Lord as a result!

So, get excited, get hopeful and get onboard with what the Lord is doing! It is going to be one wild ride.
