Prophetic WARNING: Do Not Get Stuck in Your Flesh and Get Offended!

A few days ago, the Lord had me release a strong prophetic warning to the Body of Christ (on Facebook and Instagram). But then, He gave me a very powerful dream that same night warning about the same thing and I knew He wanted me to release both of them together.

So first, I will share the original word He had me release last week:

The Holy Spirit has been warning for awhile now about the spirit of offense. This spirit comes to cause confusion, bitterness, animosity and division, particularly among the Body of Christ. And again, if you are not sober and aware of its movements, you will get caught up in it.

The enemy’s playground is your mind. That is where the real battles take place. I am reminded of a scene from the movie Anastasia (which is a VERY symbolic movie!) where the enemy (as represented by Rasputin) comes after Anastasia IN HER MIND by trying to get her to believe something other than the truth. And this is EXACTLY how the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.

In the very broadest sense, he is on a constant mission to deceive you about who you are (hence him being the “deceiver”). He wants to make you forget how valued, beloved and POWERFUL you are by filling your MIND with lies of worthlessness, rejection, shame, guilt and self-hatred. Because he knows he doesn’t actually have power or authority over you on his own. So, he has to scheme and connive to take you down through spiritual and mental warfare.

And right now, he and his cohorts are working overtime. We see it in the world - people falling prey to these spirits and quickly agreeing with division, bitterness and hatred of one another. But, the even scarier part is how many believers are falling into the trap. This is exactly why the Holy Spirit keeps warning us to “mind the gap,” to be alert and sober-minded, so we don’t get caught up.

The enemy WILL take advantage of your weak spots. He will capitalize on your unhealed wounds of rejection and insecurity. He will use your old wounds of offense to trap and blind you in your present life. And if you remain in your flesh, you will be blind to even knowing he’s doing it. Because he‘ll twist it to feel like “truth.”

Church, I cannot stress enough how much the Lord is pressing for His people to come out of their flesh. To be slow to anger, patient and forgiving in spirit. NOT stuck in their feelings. And completely surrendered to Him in total humility.

It is the ONLY place you will be safe from deception and destruction. Pray ”create in me a clean heart, Lord.” Let Him show you the “access points” you’ve been giving to the enemy and be quick to humbly repent and ask Jesus to help you heal and turn from them.

Now is the time to be more alert than ever, Church.

Do not be offended. Do not be caught in your flesh. Do not be swept away by your feelings.

Be alert. Be sober-minded and stay under the covering of the Lord!

And now, I will share the dream and then give you the interpretation and overall message He is saying through the two.

In the dream, I was with my mom and dad and we were about to go somewhere to a party. I was wearing a white fringe dress and boots and you could see that my legs were hairy and you could see the hair on my knees between the bottom of the dress and top of the boots. I didn’t want people to see it, so my mom was going to get me some pants. But, my dad said no, you don’t need to spend money on pants. So, I ran over to him and said no, it’s not for an allergy (cuz I didn’t want to say out loud that it was because I had hairy legs). So, my mom found me some pleather pants that were cheap and wine-colored. I went to change into them but all the fitting rooms were full. I finally found one, but when I went in, it was a huge room and there were all these people there, so I said nevermind, I’m not changing in front of you.

Then, in the next scene, the police came and wanted to arrest me. My “mom” was now a woman from a television show whose real name is Jaime and I thought she won’t turn me in. I was talking to her and said I wasn’t trying to cause trouble and it was just a misunderstanding. But, when she went up to talk to them, she came back with teary eyes and just said, “I’m sorry.” I couldn’t believe she had turned me in. When we were walking in to the prison (where they took me), she kept going from sad to smirking, so I couldn’t tell if she felt bad or had planned it. They took me to processing and I started to pass out right in front of them. While I was passed out, they began to work on my teeth and when I came to, my whole lip was fat and swollen and I could barely talk. I asked if it was going to stay that way forever and they said yes. I asked again and they said yes again and it upset me. But, it started going down after a little while.

Then, they brought me something to eat and and I sat by a fireplace to eat it. They said I could sit outside, but I thought I’d be cold because I was in short sleeves. The other inmates started being nice to me and I said something about thinking someone loves you right up until the moment they say, “I’m sorry.” They asked if I had experienced that and I said “Yes, from my ‘stepmother’ even though she’s like 20 years younger than me.”

Then, they asked if I wanted this woman to come give me an orientation on what I could do in prison and I thought I may as well, so I agreed. Then I woke up.

Okay. So first, the interpretation for the dream. My mom and dad represent the Holy Spirit and God the Father and we were going to the revival. The white fringe dress and boots mean that I was representing those who are on the “fringe” of righteousness. To be “on the fringe” means to be on the edge or outer boundary of something. It also means not completely belonging to a group of people that share the same job, activities, interests, etc. The boots represent one’s external or outward walk.

In a previous word, the Holy Spirit already warned through Revelation 11:2, that the Lord was saying to not even count those on the outer edges (as part of the temple) because they had already become part of the world. “But do not measure the outer courtyard, for it has been turned over to the nations.” (Rev. 11:2)

So, the message/warning in the dream is aimed at those who are skirting along at the outer edges of righteousness. Identifying themselves with the Church, but are not walking it out in their lives.

The hairy legs and particularly knees represents walking in the flesh and not in the spirit, as well as not being humbly submitted to God. But, beyond the fact that they’re in their flesh and not humbly submitted to God, they also do not want anyone to see that and want to cover it up (particularly before taking part in the revival).

God says no, you don’t have to spend money on pants - you don’t have to “pay” for your own “covering” (by trying to continue to “strive” for it and “earn” it in a spirit of religion/works/flesh) - because Jesus already paid the price for you! But, these people don’t want to admit that they need healing and admit out loud that they’re struggling, so they’d rather just cover it up.

The wine-colored pleather pants represent being under the influence of religion (the spirit that WILL absolutely keep you in your flesh!) and settling for a cheap substitute that is not the real thing - a lesser version of the true Gospel and freedom found in Christ. Not wanting to change in front of the other people again, represents being concerned about how one looks and what the world will say.

And the next scene begins the part of the dream that is warning of the consequences of these choices. When those in authority in the natural (who are anti-God) come to arrest these ones, they will be totally caught off guard when their flesh (represented by Jaime - which means “man of the flesh”) betrays them. They will have been so sure up to this point that their flesh (meaning their own rationale, reasoning and thinking) would never lead them astray, that they will genuinely be shocked when it happens.

(Which is exactly why the Holy Spirit is giving all of these warnings in advance to come out of your flesh!)

A great number of them will feel like it’s all just been a misunderstanding and that they had good intentions (it SOUNDED good to their ears and natural thinking to go along with these things…), but it won’t matter then because it will be too late. Their flesh will betray them and lead them on a roller coaster of emotions and double-mindedness where they’re not sure what to believe. But, when this happens, they will lose God’s protection (represented by passing out).

Now, let me pause here to reiterate what He had me share before in other posts. God’s “judgment” means Him removing His hand from someone or a situation. It means Him “turning away.” Leaving someone to their own devices. That is what His judgment is. It’s basically, Him not intervening, but leaving us to what we insist upon having in our flesh.

So yes, we are coming to that time now. Where those who have refused to respond to His repeated warnings and offers and have chosen instead to stay in pride, rebellion, stubbornness, religion and their flesh will experience the consequences of their choice. Because that’s just what it is - their choice.

It’s not a subject that many pastors or preachers want to talk about. But, that’s part of the problem and why so many people will be caught unaware. Because many of their “leaders” were too worried about being “palatable” to the masses and not upsetting anyone. But, they will be part of the group found in their flesh too.

Back to the dream…

The people who work at the prison working on their teeth while they’re passed out represents again, the judgement of God, as well as those in control in the world putting words in their mouths and telling them what to say (and think). Hence, the swollen lip, which represents being caught in their snare of lies. The bit of good news here is that even though they will tell these people that it’s permanent and it will always be this way… that is not true. God’s judgment does not last forever for His people and they will still have an opportunity to repent and come back to Him in their hearts (but they have to experience the judgment first).

Eating the food they gave represents being in agreement with them and being by the fireplace, again, the judgment of God. And being in short sleeves and afraid of being “cold” is again, knowing that they are outside of the covering of God and exposed. The other inmates (others in the world who are still “imprisoned”) are those who try to convince them to side with them by appearing to be nice and “sympathetic” to how they feel.

And the comment about thinking someone loves you up until the moment they say “I’m sorry” is not about God not loving them. But, it is going to catch them off guard that they thought they were “good to go” this whole time, in a prideful way, and they will be surprised to find they’re not actually with Christ as much as they claimed.

(Reminder - this whole thing is indeed evidence of God’s love! Because “the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.") (Hebrews 12:6)

The religious spirit is not the true spirit of what it means to be in covenant with Christ (it’s quite the opposite, actually). Hence, the reason why the religious leaders couldn’t stand Jesus. It keeps people in an old mindset of being ruled by the law (focusing on their own actions and “worthiness”) and not the Holy Spirit. Which is represented by “the step-mom” in the dream.

And then finally, in the last scene, it was yet another warning, that when some find themselves in this position of being “arrested” by the world… they will “give in.” It will feel easier (as it already has) and they may figure they “may as well.” And they’ll agree with the world and accept their ways.

And like the Holy Spirit keeps repeating… if so, that is their choice.

He doesn’t want it to be! He wants everyone to choose Him and His Spirit over their flesh! And the work has already been done for it to be received as a truly FREE gift. But, it has to be a choice that each and every person makes for themselves. And these times that we are already in now and are stepping into will test each person’s individual faith and relationship with the Lord.

Which is why He’s giving a warning now. He’s sounding the alarm!

Don’t be caught in your flesh! Don’t get stuck in your feelings! They WILL lead you astray!

As I mentioned in the original word last week, the enemy’s playground is your mind. And the world, the media and all of the people who are under his influence are the weapons he uses to “program” your mind. He will stop at nothing to deceive you. So, he WILL take advantage of old wounds, false beliefs and offenses that you haven’t dealt with and use them to his advantage.

He will use your hidden prejudices to get you to not see something God is doing. Or take advantage of your old wounds to make you believe lies about someone He is using. He will twist words to reinforce your false beliefs about who God is and how He acts.

He will take advantage of your own offense, pride, insecurity, self-righteousness, fear, rejection, prejudices or anything else he can to do the dirty work for him. And the only way to protect yourself is HUMILITY.

Humility, humility, humility.

It’s like I’ve said before… a mindset of “Lord, I know nothing and You know everything!” Because even when we think we know, we can be wrong. So, we have to rely on nothing but His Spirit to lead us through these times. Which again, is why it is essential for every believer to have their own personal, intimate relationship with the Lord, so they won’t be lead astray.

In Matthew 10:34, Jesus says, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.”

Read that again. Jesus did NOT come to bring peace on earth. That right there will blow a lot of people’s theology to smithereens.

But, He didn’t. Jesus isn’t some mamsy-pamsy pushover. He is the Lion of Judah! And He came to bring a sword!

Jesus is the Word of God become flesh (John 1:14). And “The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

Jesus is supposed to be sharp, not “palatable.” His words and everything He stands for are supposed to pierce you like a sword. It is supposed to divide right between your flesh and spirit. And it’s supposed to reveal what the true intents of your heart are.

But again, because of many generations of watered-down, crowd-friendly “Gospel,” many in the Body of Christ have not been prepared for this to come to fruition. Like the virgins who are caught without enough oil for the lamps, they will find themselves unprepared and betrayed by their own flesh.

The ones that secretly desired for a lukewarm version of Jesus in their hearts or stubbornly insisted upon doing things their way and not His will soon find themselves shocked at their flesh “turning them in.”

But remember, God does not want anyone to suffer. He wants them to come under the protection of His wings and into true covenant with Him. He wants them to come out of their flesh and start walking in the freedom of His Spirit. But, it is your choice.

One last thing that I wanted to share as part of this word is something Jesus said to me back in October of 2019. While looking for an old journal entry a couple nights ago, He brought this one back to my attention and illuminated the timeliness of it now:

“It is a right and a privilege (the Kingdom of Heaven) that is not to be taken lightly. There is an awe and a reverence that is missing in my Church today. They have come to know Me with their heads and not their hearts. There is reform taking place in the hearts of believers. Deep change. And it has to be allowed to happen in order for their faith to sustain them. It may not look pleasant or pretty at the time, but it is necessary. Sometimes, preparation looks like destruction.”

So, heed the warning now! Respond to His call and humble yourself before Him. Submit your flesh to Him and He will pull you back in with open arms and show you the way.

Don’t be offended.
Don’t be in your feelings.
Don’t be in your flesh.
Don’t be stuck in pride.

Ask the Lord to purify your heart and give you eyes to see and ears to hear. And He will do it! 🙌
